Established in 1968, Lambiek in Amsterdam is the oldest cartoon strip shop in Europe, but also the largest. Cartoon strips are everywhere here. Exhibitions are also held exploring the frontiers between cartoon strips and conventional art. The store has a huge collection of underground cartoon strips from all over the world. Of course, there is major focus on the Netherlands, but each country has its own section.
