In 1988, the city of Geneva decided to support artisans who designed quality products. This is how the Geneva market for creative artisans came to light. Since then, around 30 Swiss or foreign designers take over the place de la Fusterie every Thursday. The only condition the designers need to meet to exhibit their wares is to make what they show themselves.
