Travelling to Frankfurt

Travel to Frankfurt

Situated in the Hesse state, Frankfurt-sur-Main - not to be confused with Frankfurt (Oder) - is Germany's economic capital. The headquarters of the ECB (European Central Bank) are located here, along with the German Federal Bank and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Frankfurt is a major player in the world of transport, and its airport and train station are among the busiest in Europe. Despite the bustling commercial nature of the city, it has preserved pieces of its ancient history, and is also one of the greenest cities in Europe.
