RestaurantsCologneNear to Brasserie Sion
This brasserie, is first and foremost a long-established family business.Belonging to the Sion family since 1912, Hans Sion, also known as father of the Kölsch-Beer, has continued in the tradition of brewers, appearing for the first time in 1318 under the name of "Unter Taschenmacher zu Köln", by rebuilding identically his brasserie, which was bombed during the Second World War, and making it the favourite meeting place of people from Cologne; the flame has been carried on by his son since his passing. It is therefore a place heavily loaded in emotion for the Cologne people. What's very nice is the beer garden which is covered and transformed into a porch.Enjoy Cologne specialities and of course, fresh Kölsch directly from the cask.
