Hyacinthe Rigaud Fine Arts Museum

This former musée des Beaux-Arts (Fine Arts Museum), renamed in 1959 after the famous portrait painter who, born in Perpignan, used his talents in the court of Versailles, presents interesting Rousillon works.
Catalan Gothic paintings mix with major works by Rigaud, Maillot, Dufy (who lived in Perpignan in the 40s near to the museum), as well as a collection of 211 works of contemporary artists.

La Loge de la Mer located on the Place de la Loge in Perpignan is represented on a magnificient painted alter piece of the Trinity which decorated the Loge in former times.
