Corts Palace

Les Corts were the judicial courts. The premises gathered together five of them at the beginning of the 14th century, then 3 from 1660 to 1790. They were then occupied by the commerical court, then empty for 40 years before being renovated and taken over by the departmental Red Cross which made it its headquarters.

This palace was initially made up of 2 extra buildings. The walls which surround the patio still show a mixture of pebbles arranged in dikes. In the rooms on the first storey, with the ceilings in wood still in place, there would have been meetings and debates.
