Travel to Gare du Nord

Gare du Nord, in the 10th arrondissement, is well served by the RER, metro and train services, and is one of the major entry points into Paris.
The station is at the heart of the lively right bank.
To the north, you will find the romantic district of Montmartre, overlooked by Sacré-Cœur. To the south, the pretty Saint-Martin canal with its art house cinemas. Not far from the Gare du Nord you can find hip music venues such as Point Ephémère and New Morning, where you can hear the latest beats. A short walk away is the famous Hôtel du Nord restaurant, a relic of 1930s Paris which features in a film by Marcel Carné.
Far from the museum-like centre of Paris, the Gare du Nord district is a young, vibrant and up-and-coming area of Paris.
