National Museum of the Middle Ages, Paris, visit

Located in the fomer Roman baths and the Cluny Abbots' mansion, the Musée national du Moyen Age, or National Museum of the Middle Ages in Paris offers a vast collection of objects, presenting Gothic sculptures as well as paintings, illuminated manuscripts and stained glass windows; tapestries and fabrics from the Middle Ages, and many objects which bear witness to daily life during this time.

Among the key works here you will find the famous tapestry of the "Lady with the Unicorn", (La Dame à la Licorne), sculptures from the façade of the Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris and the stained glass windows from the Royal Abbey of Saint-Denis.

Outside the building, you can take the opportunity to wander in the medieval garden, inspired by the museum's collection.
