Wine Museum in Paris

Managed by the Conseil des Echansons de France ("council of the cupbearers of France"), the musée du Vin has been situated within these former limestone quarries ever since it was first set up.
Exploited until the 18th century and forgotten for a long time, these quarries were used again in the middle of the 20th century as cellars in the Eiffel Tower restaurant.
Today they house the museum's numerous collections.
