The easiest way to get to Avignon is to take the Eurostar from St Pancras International in London. You can reach your destination with a change to the TGV in Paris or Lille. Changes: In Paris: from the Gare du Nord, take the RER D to Gare de Lyon where you will then be able to take the TGV.In Lille: from the Gare de Lille Europe, take the TGV. The journey from London to Avignon will take around 6.5 hours.In summer there are some direct train which will allow you to reach Avignon in less than 6 hours.
