Indeed the killer whales and the sharks will also surprise you, living up to the mystery which surrounds them.Created in 1970 by the Count Roland de la Poype to make accessible to as many as possible the discovery of the depths of the ocean, Marineland today is an extraordinary re-constituted heritage with more than 4000 animals: dolphins to killer whales, with sharks and piranhas…The attractions of the park, imbued with humour and poetry, also have an educative aspect with the aim of sensitising the general public to the protection of the ocean world which is rich but threatened. A sincere commitment to safeguarding marine species via in particular the CRC Marineland (Centre de Recherche sur les Cétacés- Centre of Research on Cetaceans).
