Near to Notre Dame Cathedral in Grenoble

Situated close to Saint Hugues church, Notre Dame cathedral was built upon the ancient episcopal cluster between the 10th and 13th centuries. Modified during the 19th century, the cathedral kept its 13th century entrance tower, chancel and vaults. In 1989, when the tramway was being constructed, archeologists discovered an important early Christian baptistry.
