Situated at the edge of Lake Annecy
, the Pont des Amours
(Bridge of Lovers) is found at the mouth of the Vassé canal. It links the Jardins de l'Europe to the Pâquier
. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, this little iron bridge designed by Charles Galletto
delimits the mouth of the lake within the city. Its name originates from legend - if a couple kiss on the bridge, they will be united for life.
