One week before the French Grand Slam at Roland Garros, a women's event will be held on the clay courts of the Royal Primerose in Brussels during the Brussels Open. This new WTA tournament features a $618 000 prize. A number of women players have already confirmed their participation in this tournament sponsored by GDF Suez, including Caroline Wozniacki, Vera Zvonareva, Francesca Schiavone, Jelena Jankovic and Yanina Wickmayer.
