Near to Pierre Marcolini

Belgium has always been famous for its chocolate and you’d have to be quite daring to come from abroad and try your luck playing the Belgians at their own game. Pierre Marcolini set himself this challenge and has been awarded a few times already for his talent (First ice cream patissier of Belgium in 1991, Patisserie world champion in 1995, Patisserie European champion in 2000).
These days, he is one of the big names in Belgian chocolate and his Sablon shop is a pilgrimage for all chocaholics.

This beautiful corner building houses a wide range of chocolates, desserts, biscuits, pralines and chocolate bars over two floors. Each product is beautifully displayed in alcoves. Several times a year, in the manner of Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, Pierre Marcolini invents new chocolate concoctions and launches a totally new range with a subtle mix of flavours, as ever.
