Bruges Church of Our Lady

Built around 1225, theEglise Notre-Dame in Bruges is famous for its soaring brick tower, 122 metres high. Made in Gothic style, it conceals numerous treasures: statues of the twelve apostles standing up against the pillars of the central nave, elaborate baroque sculptures of saints and allegorical characters and La Madone et l'enfant (the Madonna and child), a statue by Michelangelo in white marble from Carrare. Something to be discovered!
